- The Contracting Department, Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract, utilizing procedures under FAR Part 13, The contractor shall provide SIEMENS MXL fire alarm panel replacement for Yard Patrol Craft SLEP services in support of the US Naval Academy Annapolis, Maryland. This procurement is sole source to: SIEMENS Building Technologies, 2520 Lord Baltimore Dr., Windsor Mill MD 21244. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 336611; the Business size is 1,250 personnel. The period of performance consists of a base year from 30 September 2017 through 29 September 2018. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
