- Pre-Solicitation Notice NIHOD2017134 The National Institutes of Health, Office of Acquisitions, Office of Logistics and Acquisition Operations is seeking Sign Language Interpreting Services. The purpose of this announcement is to provide a Presolicitation Notice for the release of Solicitation # NIHOD2017134. THIS IS A SYNOPSIS. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. NIH prides itself on being an inclusive and collaborative agency and is committed to meeting the diverse needs of its staff, patients and visiting family members, and visitor/guests. Members of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (D/HH) community consider NIH a workplace of choice for providing quality sign language interpreting services that enable them to perform the essential duties of their job, fully participate in social activities, trainings and seminars; and enjoy full access to all the benefits of working at NIH. These essential services also allow patients and visitors/guests to engage in all that NIH has to offer. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) and the Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement. This advertisement does not commit the Government to award a contract. The RFP will be available on the FedBizOpps Web page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading the RFP and all attachments. The offeror is responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps Web page for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. The RFP will be available from the FedBizOpps on or about October 5, 2017. Offerors must submit all technical questions/responses concerning this synopsis/solicitation in writing to Terita Stevenson, stevenst@od.nih.gov.
