- NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE AWARD The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4, intends to award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price contract to Bioquell Inc, 702 Electronic Drive STE. 200, Horsham, PA, 19044-2229, to provide and install two (2) vaporized hydrogen peroxide generators for the deactivation of pathogens and other microbiology in a hospital or laboratory environment at the VA Medical Center Wilkes-Barre, 1111 East End Boulevard, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711. Bioquell Inc. will be awarded VA244-17-C -0363 install two (2) vaporized hydrogen peroxide generators for the deactivation of pathogens and other microbiology in a hospital or laboratory environment at the VA Medical Center Wilkes-Barre, 1111 East End Boulevard, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711. This requirement has been determined to be available from only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The hydrogen peroxide generators required are unique supplies available from only Bioquell and the generators have unique capabilities not found in other decontamination units, the processes used for by the units are highly specialized equipment and proprietary to BioQuell, and not otherwise available to the Government. GENERAL STATEMENT OF WORK: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, and equipment and qualified professionals necessary to provide and install two (2) vaporized hydrogen peroxide generators for the deactivation of pathogens and other microbiology in a hospital or laboratory environment: EQUIPMENT: One (1) Each Bioquell Z-2 Bio-Decontamination Unit With start-up supplies, manuals, and commissioning, and One (1) Each Bioquell Bq-50 Bio-Decontamination Unit With start-up supplies, manuals, and commissioning; SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Onsite installation/commissioning with FAT for each unit, Certification of operation, Final acceptance, Provide Onsite 3-day operator training; The period of performance will be 60 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Award will be made on or about 20 September, 2017. The NAICS Code, 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing 1,000 are to be used. This notice is NOT a request for quotes, or a solicitation of offers, or an invitation for bids. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which may be considered by the agency. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
