- Scope of Work Provide to the Government all materials and labor for one three sided lean-to type building, the side of the building facing the river shall be left open. This building will be constructed and fastened to an existing concrete cistern. The concrete cistern dimensions are 47'3" L X 16' 11" W X 2'3" H wall thickness of approximately 8" +- ½", See attached photo. The roof and walls will extend beyond the cistern by 15'11" on the northwest (NW) side to allow for additional covered storage area. Please see attached drawing: Interested vendors are encouraged to verify all dimensions. Site visits are allowed and encouraged but are at the vendor's expense. Side/wall panels: Side panels shall match style and color of adjacent building and have a thickness 26 gauge of greater. Manufacture recommended fasteners shall be used. Fasteners shall be coated to match the wall panel color. Roof panels: Roof panels shall match color and style of adjacent building and have a thickness of 26 gauge or greater. Roof panels shall be designed to be removable in approximately 12' sections. Manufacture recommended fasteners shall be used. Fasteners shall be coated to match the roof color. Structural members: Structural members shall be of sufficient size and strength to meet all State and local building codes for this type building and can be attached directly to the existing concrete cistern. Supports which are located on the left hand side (NW) of the cistern shall be supported by contractor installed concrete footings. Footings shall comply with Federal and state (WI) building codes for this type of structure. Structural members shall be made of metal, made of square tubing least 4"x4" in dimension, and have a protective coating of paint to protect from corrosion.
