- Pre-solicitation Synopsis: Date 2 May 2017 NOTICE TYPE: NOTIFICATION OF PENDING RFP RELEASE SOLICITATION NUMBER: FA8232-17-R-3027 TITLE: Upgrade all of the Air Forces current APX-113-56 SYNOPSIS: 1. This is an advance notice that the F-16 System Program Office (SPO) plans to issue a solicitation for a sole source to BAE Systems, Green Lawn, NY, to upgrade all of the Air Forces current APX-113-56. This acquisition will be for a 4 year, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) ordering contract with 8 CLIN lines. The anticipated period of ordering for the proposed contract is from September 2017 through 30 September 2021. 2. Contracting Office: Eric Dumpert or Nathan Lee Building 1233 Hill AFB, UT 84056 3. Description: To upgrade all of the Air Forces current APX-113-56 Combined Interrogator Transponder (CIT) Line Replaceable Units (LRU) to the AN/APX-125 configuration CIT LRU that is a part of the Advanced Identification Friend/Foe (AIFF) system installed in the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve Blocks 25-32 F-16 Aircraft. Required baseline Operational Flight Program for the AN/APX-125 CIT is identified as UP67. 4. NAICS Code: 334511 5. NSN: APX-113-56 6. Contract Ceiling amount is $14,200,000.00. 7.
