Description

NOTICE OF INTENT: VA Medical Center West Palm Beach, Florida intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Fedco, 1792 Bell Tower Lane, Weston, Florida 33326-3682 to provide patient lifts. This procurement is accomplished in accordance with FAR 6.302-5 where there is statutory authority to negotiate and award on a sole source basis to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The associated NAICS Code is 334510. This is a Notice of Intent and is not a request for competitive proposals. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than noon, September 27, 2017 and all responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
