- This is a Notice of Intent to issue a contract to Waste Management Collection and Recycling, Inc., 17700 Indian St., Moreno Valley CA 92551 on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The proposed procurement is for waste management and recycling services at the Defense Media Activity, Riverside CA. A sources sought announcement was posted on FBO 28 Aug 2017 (HQ0516-FY17-0019) with a response deadline of 12 Sep 2017. No responses were received. Description of Supplies/Services: NOTE: Services described below will be performed 28 Sep 2017-27 Sep 2022: 0001: Trash Disposal: Provide one (1) 40 cubic yard container, with removal/disposal service. 0002: Trash Disposal: Provide two (2) 6-cubic yard containers, weekly removal/disposal service. 0003: Provide 1 ea 6 Cubic yard recycle containers, weekly removal/disposal service. Waste Management has an agreement with the County of Riverside CA to provide collection and transportation of solid waste and recyclables. This agreement was signed in Jan 1999, and is still in effect. The Defense Media Activity-Riverside is physically located in Riverside County.
