Description

This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size relative to the revised NAICS: 339112, Standard Size: 1000; NAICS: 339113, Standard Size 750. Preference will be given to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and Veteran Owned Small Business. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses are not considered responses to any potential solicitation announcement. Functional Statement The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) is currently using the Cygnet Clamps. These clamps are used by the surgeons during Cardiopulmonary Bypass and Hemisternotomy procedures to allow much of the mechanism to be positioned well out of the surgical field. The Vascular Clinics are requesting more clamps to help support these routine procedures that with their caseloads because right now surgeries are being delayed and with raising the par level for the Cygnet clamps it will ensure better serve for our Veterans. This purchase will enhance our ability to perform surgeries as needed in the Clinics. VS00057 Cygnet Clamp, 86mm, Lambert-Kay Jaw, w/sterilization tray 1 ea V10142 Cygnet Clamp, Straight, 66mm w/Sterilization Tray Supply Specifications Requirements: All instruments have a lifetime warranty with any manufacturer defect. Warranty and Support: The warranty and support must cover all components of the requirement in accordance with standard manufacturer s warranty. Delivery Location: Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center SPS Department-Lekeicia Anderson-Spight 2002 Holcombe Boulevard Houston, TX 77030 Interested vendors shall provide the following information: company name, address, point of contact, phone number and/or capability statement. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to jack.caperton@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than, Friday, September 25, 2017 at 2:00 pm CST. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
