- *The purpose of this amendment is to correct vendor information* NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE 19 Sep 2017, Contracting Office, Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center intends to issue a purchase order under FAR 8.405-6 Circumstances Permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition and FAR Part 12 Acquisitions of Commercial items to AARDVARK on a Sole Source basis to purchase the following line Items: CLIN 0001: Qty (8) USAF SFS TASER X26P KIT Right Handed Holsters P/N: AARD-10198 The Government intends to award a Firm- Fixed Price sole-source contract AARDVARK. This firm is the sole manufacturer of the USAF SFS TASER X26P. No other source will satisfy the Governments requirement. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335999 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect throughout the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-72 effective 30 January 2014. This requirement is determined to be available from only one source because of the regional restrictions placed by the manufacturer. No request for quote for this procurement will be transmitted via Federal Business Opportunities. Proposed award date is on or about 20 Sep 2017. All potential offerors shall contact Chad Cielencki via email at chad.n.cielencki@usmc.mil for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals, or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice.
