- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. This is a written notice to inform the public of the Government's intent to award on a sole source basis pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The Marine Corps Installations North Capital Region (MCINCR) - RCO intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order with The Linkedin Corporation, 1000 W. Maude Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94085. This requirement is to supply Marine Corps University (MCU) with Lynda.com online training. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a response which if timely received, will be considered by the Agency. The Period of Performance will be 28 September 2017 - 27 September 2018. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 519130. Any questions or responses regarding this notice must be submitted to Denise Russell via email denise.g.russell@usmc.mil no later than 3:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EST), 12 September 2017. Telephonic inquiries will not be considered. Any capability statements, proposals, or quotations received by 03:00 PM EST, 12 September 2017 will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
