- SSJ PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Department of the Navy (DoN) intends to negotiate a one-time sole source contract with Medical Reporting Software, 19000 33rd Ave W, Suite 130, Lynnwood, WA 98036-4753. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice will be distributed through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fbo.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring FBO website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 511210; the size standard is $38.5 million dollars. The Department of the Navy (DoN) intends to award a non-competitive, sole source contract to Medical Reporting Software, 19000 33rd Ave W, Suite 130, Lynnwood, WA 98036-4753 for the maintenance and technical support of mammography software that meets DON's requirements. Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined DON's requirement can only be provided Medical Reporting Software, as they are the sole manufacturing authority and hold all proprietary data for software to operate medical reporting software. Sole-Source Justification posted with this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 2:00 pm, EST, September 25, 2017, by email to the attention of Charles Hartley, Contract Specialist, at charles.f.hartley.civ@mail.mil. Facsimile offers will not be accepted. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
