- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 15.1, Source Selection Processes and Techniques and FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request For Proposal (RFP) for the rehabilitation of a relocated cabin structure at the Panther Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, Yazoo City, Mississippi. Specific work entails the replacement of the interior mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, general architectural and ADA/ABA upgrades, and other miscellaneous items. Please reference the full Statement of Work for project specifics. The proposed contract will be awarded under "Best Value" procedures under FAR 15.1. The NAICS code is 236220. The estimated price range is between $230,000.00 and $245,000.00. The RFP will be issued electronically on or after October 24, 2017 on the Federal Business Opportunities website at https://www.fbo.gov. The Response Date will be determined upon release of the RFP. Responses to the RFP will be accepted electronically only. Questions or clarifications concerning any ambiguities in the solicitation shall be incumbent upon the offeror to immediately address in e-mail form to mark_tapp@fws.gov. PLEASE DEFER ALL QUESTIONS UNTIL AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE RFP. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any amendments/modifications to any and all documents. It is anticipated the following viewers will be needed to view the solicitation and attachments posted: Microsoft Word (.docx) and Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf). A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 365 days. Anticipated date of award will be on or about 31 December 2017. NOTE: In order to be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) and the Internet Payment Platform (IPP.gov).
