2 1 SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Synopsis: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO2), Canandaigua, NY is currently conducting a market survey to identify possible sources capable of providing Cable TV Services. 1. Title of Project: Provide cable television services 2. Type of Contract Contemplated: Firm fixed price B. SCOPE REQUIRED TO BE OPERATIONAL on or before 12/01/2017. Cable TV services on the Canandaigua VA Medical Center (CVAMC) campus using the existing cable network infrastructure throughout the campus. 175 TV sets in Community Living Centers, Residential Domiciliary, and Veteran waiting rooms in the outpatient areas. Channels required must include local broadcasts as well as cable channels. Specific cable networks must include or be able to add ESPN, faith based channel, Spanish-speaking broadcasting, and music only channels. It is necessary to have available the option to insert channels provided by CVAMC for educational purposes, and/or requested if a channel is not part of an existing channel package. Services should be scalable, ie., increase or decrease the number of televisions after the base year, and as each option year is considered for continuation. Service support should be provided within 1 business day of any reported down-time. C. REQUIREMENT/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS/SPECIFICATIONS Intended use: Cable TV for residential settings- CLCs, Domiciliary, and Patient Care Waiting Rooms Equipment with which the item is used: Existing equipment provided by Time Warner/Spectrum Safety/ISO/IT/BioMed/SPS & Other Departmental Compliance: N/A D. Delivery to: VA MEDICAL CENTER CANANDAIGUA VA Canandaigua Logistics Warehouse 400 Fort Hill Rd Canandaigua, NY 14424 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 515210. The Product Service Code (PSC) is S216. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email) and must be received no later than September 29, 2017 at 4:00PM EST. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran small business, veteran owned small business, woman owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 515210. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Federal Business Opportunities website HTTPS://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
