- CARLSBAD FIELD OFFICE INTRUSION ALARM This is a combined synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561621 with a small business size standard of $20.5 Million. This requirement is a small business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit a proposal. The Bureau of Land Management Carlsbad Field Office, 620 E. Greene Street, Carlsbad, NM 88220 has a requirement to purchase and install a new intrusion alarm system with panic duress alarm that is portable and not hard-wired. The intrusion alarm system requires monitoring services seven (7) days a week. A site visit is scheduled for September 11, 2017 at 10:00 AM MT at the Carlsbad Field Office. Offerors are encouraged to attend the site visit to ensure full understanding of the requirement and conditions that may effect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. The Government intends to award a contract to a responsible contractor whose proposal is responsive and provides "Best Value" on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. To be considered for award, pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines, offeror must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Registration must be "ACTIVE" at the time of award. Offers are being accepted through FedConnect and by electronic mail to etippeco@blm.gov. Offers must be submitted via company letter head, referencing L17PS00982, your company name, point of contact, address, phone number, DUNS number, the unit price, the extended price, total price and any prompt payment discount terms.
