This acquisition is conducted under the authority of the Multiple Award Schedule Program. The material or service listed in the attached justification is sole source, therefore, consideration of the number of contractors required by FAR Subpart 8.4 Federal Supply Schedules, is precluded for the reasons indicated below. The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LM) Blood Bank section is requesting award of a delivery order on a limited source basis to Immucor, Inc under their FSC Group 65, Part VII, Invitro Diagnostics Substances, Reagents, Test Kits and Sets FSS V797D-70110, and SIN 555-1.
