Description

Notice of Intent for Sole Source Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 2304, the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office - Central (RHCO-C), San Antonio, TX, intends to issue a sole source award to Medtronic, Inc. for full service maintenance of the Medtronic Fusion Stereotactic System located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, Texas. This contract will be for twelve (12) months with two (2) twelve-month option periods. The Government requires full service maintenance services for the Medtronic Fusion Stereotactic System. Medtronic, Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer and the only authorized service agency for this system. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated service can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability; and specifications within two (2) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
