Description

Notice of Intent for Sole Source Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 2304, the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office - Central (RHCO-C), San Antonio, TX, intends to issue a sole source award to Hologic, Inc. for full service maintenance of the Hologic Dimensions 2D 8000 Mammography System located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, Texas. This contract will be for twelve (12) months with one (1) twelve-month option period. The Government requires full service maintenance services for the Hologic Dimensions 2D 8000 Mammography System. Hologic Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer and the only authorized service agency for this system. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated service can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability; and specifications within two (2) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation for offers; Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Contract Specialist; CPT Ashley Fair, Ashley.h.fair.mil@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
