Description

Sole Source J&A Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA, hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), 284 Lincoln Street, Lander, WY 82520-2848 under the authority of FAR 6.203-1(a)(iii), "Only One Responsible Sources and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." Training and Education Command (TECOM) requires Wilderness Leadership Training to teach Marines leadership on a multi-day wilderness expedition, focusing on learning and practicing travel and camping skills and environmental studies as part of leadership training. A formal solicitation was not developed but the informal Request for Quote (M00264-17-R-0069) will be provided upon request. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a response which if timely received, will be considered by the agency. Responses must be received at the Contracting Office no later than 3:00 pm EST on 26 September 2017, via email.
