- N00164-17-S-NC42 - REQUEST FOR INFORMATION - Small Ruggedized Maritime Display Assembly (SRMDA), FSC: 5855 - NAICS: 334419 Issue Date: 21 September 2017 Closing Date: 10 November 2017 - 2:00 PM EDST MARKET SURVEY - REQUEST FOR INFORMATION SYNOPSIS: The Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC Crane) is seeking information for market research purposes relative to technologies available to support observation and touch screen capabilities on a display in a ruggedized package. The systems are to be used day and night in nearly all weather conditions to display signals transmitted to the system. Request for Information (RFI) is sought for systems which may provide the capabilities identified in Attachment 1. Furthermore, this RFI is seeking information on systems suited for special operations military applications. Specific areas of interest are provided as an Attachment 1 to this announcement. Attachment 1 should be used as a guide to format your response. Attachment 1 contains information that is export controlled. Only those companies that have completed DD Form 2345 and are certified under the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in an active status are authorized to receive Attachment 1. Additional information is available at https://public.logisticsinformationservice.dla.mil/PublicHome/jcp/default.aspx Interested parties are strongly encouraged to submit an initial synopsis (commonly referred to as "white paper"). This white paper should not exceed 20 pages written (Times New Roman, 12 font) or MS PowerPoint slides, (exclusion of supporting information such as commercial literature, catalogues, manuals, etc.), with an executive summary (one page or less) on the effort, a technical description, identification of risks, current Technology Readiness Level (TRL), operational availability data, and Reliability-Availability-Maintainability (RAM) data. Interested sources with conceptual designs providing the capabilities identified in Attachment 1 should submit their white paper electronically or in hard copy to the Points of Contact (POCs) listed below.
