- Notice of Intent The 39th LRS has a requirement for the Norcom Document Control Automated Imaging System (AIS) was developed exclusively to support the Air Force Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) Document Control imaging requirements and interface with the Standard Base Supply System (SBSS). To the best of our knowledge, the Document Control AIS is the only software system available today that was developed exclusively to support the LRS Document Control functions. The Document Control AIS is certified by AFNIC for use on standard desktop systems connected to AF Network and is on the Air Force Evaluated Products List (AF EPL). Norcom is the manufacturer of the Document Control AIS version 10 licensed by the 39th LRS. As the manufacturer of the Document Control AIS, Norcom is the only authorized company to provide binary upgrade of the Document Control AIS to the current version. It is the Government's intent to sole source this requirement to Norcom Inc, 21638 NE 20th Way, Sammamish, WA 98074 IAW the authority in FAR 13.106(b)(1), Soliciting from a Single Source and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. Norcom has proprietary rights to the software and future updates to the exising system. The vendor is the manufacturer and direct seller to the Government. Price reasonableness was determined through similar purchases purchases for software upgrades through Norcom in the Electronic Document Access (EDA). Purchase orders FA4119-16-P-0050, and W91SMC-17-P-0098 were used to make this fair and reasonable determination.
