- This Special Notice is for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY and shall not be considered as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor participation in this industry informational event. TMoIP Interoperability Industry Day The Range Commanders Council (RCC) and the Telemetry Standards Coordinating Committee (TSCC) RF Vendors Working Group (RFVWG) are supporting an Industry day for testing interoperability of devices communicating in accordance with IRIG 218-10, Standard for Telemetry Transmission over Internet Protocol (TMOIP). The Industry day is scheduled for Thursday October 26, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. PST at the International Telemetry Conference at the Bally's Casino in Las Vegas Nevada. This special notice is requesting for any party interested in participating in the Industry Day to notify at least one of the contacts listed below. The objective of the TMOIP Industry day is to test the interoperability of systems that produce or receive serial data streams in compliance with IRIG 218-10 Standard, Telemetry over IP data streams. The industry day provides an opportunity for government or commercial/vendor systems to test and verify operability with other transmissions or receiving systems. A Transistor-Transistor Logic (TTL) *PRN15 data source will be provided to all government and commercial vendor systems that receive a serial PCM data stream and produce a 218-10 TMOIP data output stream. The TMOIP stream will be connected to a hub or port-spanned switch which will provide data to 218-10 TMOIP data receivers. The receiving system PRN15 payload will be compared to the known data source for bit errors. The test will be conducted as unicast and multicast. Transmit systems are expected to be capable of receiving or adapting to a TTL clock/data pair for PRN15 ingest, or internally generating PRN15. Receiving systems are expected to output a TTL clock/data pair or internally calculate and display BER and bit errors. All interested parties, please contact: Point of Contact: Shawn Perry, 218 TMOIP Standard Lead shawn.perry@navy.mil Phone: (301) 342 2331 Or Point of Contact: Johnny Pappas, Lead, RF Vendors Working Group johnny.pappas@zdsus.com Phone: (850) 259-4656 *PRN15 is a standard bit error rate test pattern with a pseudorandom binary sequence of 2^15-1.
