Description

Brand Name/Sole Source Justification Document The Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, AL intends to award a sole-source contract to Mythics, Inc. The requirement is for the procurement of extended warranties for SUN/Oracle servers. The NAICS code is 511210. The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1: Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received by 08:00 a.m. on September 26, 2017, an award will be made without further notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
