- Description
- The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center (FLC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing the policies and procedures of FAR Subpart 13- Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12-Acqusition of Commercial Items. The resulting contract is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis. The Government intends to procure telecommunications services at Naval Station Newport Rhode Island and Naval Weapons Station Earle New Jersey in support of the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic (NCTAMS LANT). The planned Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N0018917Q0375. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 517110, Wireless Telecommunications Carriers, with a size standard of 1,500 employees. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 22 September by downloading the documents at the FEDBID website as follows: http://www.fedbid.com, the NECO Website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil, or FEDBIZOPPS at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will NOT issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov.
