- Amendment 02, SB Set-Aside This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number " FA3099-17-R-0018, Fire Extinguisher Maintenance " is hereby issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) using FAR Subpart 13.1 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The award shall be made under North American Industry Classification System code 811310 with a small business size standard of $7.5M. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for Small Business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, effective 19 January 2017, the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Change Notice 20161222 effective 22 December 2016, and the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFFARS) Acquisition Circular 2017-0127 effective 27 January 2017. CLIN 0001 : Service, Fire Extinguisher, Annual - 123 Each Provide all labor, tools, parts, transportation, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform annual maintenance on 150 pound wheeled Halon 1211 fire extinguishers and return to full service. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work (attachment 1). Period of Performance: 1 October 2017 - 30 September 2018. PSC: J036 Total Price: $ ___________________ CLIN 0002 : Service, Fire Extinguisher, Fill - 123 Each Provide all labor, tools, parts, transportation, equipment, and supplies necessary to fill a 150 pound wheeled Halon 1211 fire extinguishers with agent and pressurize to operational level with nitrogen. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work (attachment 1). Period of Performance: 1 October 2017 - 30 September 2018. PSC: J036 Total Price: $ ___________________ CLIN 0003 : Service, Fire Extinguisher, Reclaim - 123 Each Provide all labor, tools, parts, transportation, equipment, and supplies necessary to reclaim Halon 1211 agent from the Halon 1211 wheeled fire extinguishers. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work (attachment 1). Period of Performance: 1 October 2017 - 30 September 2018. PSC: J036 Total Price: $ ___________________ It is the responsibility of the offeror to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions may be accessed via the Internet at website http://farsite.hill.af.mil. FAR 52.232-18, AVAILIBILITY OF FUNDS: Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. The provision FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (Oct 2015) and the applicable addendum apply to this acquisition. The addendum references FAR 52.212-1(b)(8) and is hereby tailored as follows: FAR 52.212-1 Addendum SUBMISSION OF COMPLETE QUOTES: All quotes must be complete, self-sufficient, and respond directly to the requirements of this solicitation. Failure to furnish a complete quote, at the time of quote submission, may result in the quote being unacceptable to the Government and eliminated from consideration for award.
