Monitor FBO for additional information and future opportunities. ********************************************************************** This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE issued by the Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI). This announcement is issued for INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS is not a SOLICITATION. This is NOT a request for proposal and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government to evaluate or purchase any goods or services. The information provided in this notice is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought Notice. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this notice. Information received as a result of this notice will become part of the Government's market research. It will be used to determine if sources exist that are capable of satisfying the Army's requirements, and how industry experts would approach meeting this requirement. Responders are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. All information received marked proprietary or competition sensitive will be handled accordingly. Those who respond to this request should not anticipate feedback or responses from the Government. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice will not be returned. In accordance with (IAW) FAR 15.201(e), responses are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. This Sources Sought Notice is for a potential South West Asia Theater Signal Service Support (SWA TS3) procurement for non-personal services that will provide Information Technology (IT) Engineering and Installation (E&I) services in the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) area of responsibility (AOR). The primary places of performance are Kuwait and Afghanistan, with extended travel required throughout the USCENTCOM AOR. Interested parties must be able to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary to perform IT E&I support, Inside/Outside Plant (OSP/ISP) projects, and Technical Control Facility (TCF) installation and removal. Some items may be available as Government Furnished Property. The major functional areas of the work to be performed include, but are not limited to: Program and Project Management Network / Systems Engineering Network / Systems Administration Cyber Network Defense (CND) Information Security Information Assurance (IA) Signal Engineering OSP/ISP Engineering Change Management Maintenance and Logistics Management E&I Task and Project Support The anticipated acquisition will be for a single award firm fixed price indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with cost reimbursable line items for other direct costs. The anticipated period of performance is a one year base period with four one year option periods. It is anticipated there will be an ongoing requirement for E&I planning and program management support services, and task orders will be issued for E&I task and project execution as required. It is anticipated that the Government will furnish most of the materials for the E&I task and project execution task orders. However, some materials and equipment may need to be acquired by the Contractor. All interested parties capable of providing these services are encouraged to respond to this Sources Sought Notice. Responses are requested in six parts as described in the attached Sources Sought Notice Instructions document.
