Page 1 of 1 COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION VA261-17-Q-0741 (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number VA261-17-Q-0741 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-94, 2005-95. (iv) This acquisition is Unrestricted with CASCADING EVALUATION PROCESS (See Addendum FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation). The NAICS code is 562111 and the size standard is 500 Employees. (v) The contract line item is listed in the attached price schedule of the solicitation package. Services are required weekly, when providing a quote please provide a fixed rate for this line item please provide rate for monthly and annually. (vi) The contractor shall provide Containers and Cardboard Pick-Up for Recycling at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. (vii) The contract will be for One Base Year with Four Option Years. The period of performance is listed in the Price Schedule and the Statement of Work. (viii) The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition.   The vendors should submit a quote package consisting of a completed price schedule and information demonstrating their past performance providing similar services. (ix) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.   In accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(3), the quotes will undergo a comparative evaluation to determine which vendor provides the best value to the government in terms of price and past performance. (x) 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial items applies to this acquisition. (xi) The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xiii) All additional contract clauses and provisions are attached to this notice. (xiv) The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) do not apply to this acquisition.
