The United Stated Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(i) Only one source available, with Audiology Online, Inc., 19141 Stone Oak Parkway, San Antonio, TX, 78258-3366 as the only responsible Small Business source that can provide an all-inclusive online training program in support of Department of Defense Hearing Center of Excellence (HCE) audiologist. Audiology Online provides webinars, recorded webinars, audio courses and group learning from presenters that lead in the industry with 24/7 access to the training that is critical to users serving overseas. The group-learning portal, only offered by Audiology Online will allow the HCE training staff to track usage, training completion and ensure knowledge dissemination & continuity of training throughout the Department of Defense which fulfills HCE's needs. The period of performance will be for one (1)12-month base period and three (3)12-month option periods. USAMRRA contracting intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to Audiology Online, Inc. They will provide online training courses for audiologists for their continuing education units (CEU) to assist in their professional training requirements to maintain their certifications. The intended procurement will be classified under The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 611710 - Educational Support Services, and the Product Service Code (PSC) is U009 - Educational Services. The Small Business Administration Size standard is $15,000,000.00. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document will be posted for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including cost, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same service. All capability statements received by closing of this notification of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
