Sources Sought Synopsis The GSA PBS is seeking information regarding the following requirement from Small Businesses Only: This Sources Sought Synopsis is issued solely for planning purposes and is a market research tool to determine availability and adequacy of potential sources. This is NOT a Request for Proposals or Quotes (RFP or RFQ) or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any goods or services. Responses to this Synopsis are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government reserves the right to determine how it should proceed as a result of this synopsis. Furthermore, those who respond to this Synopsis should not anticipate feedback with regard to its submission. The Government will not pay any cost incurred associated with responses. This Sources Sought encourages maximum participation of interested Small Business concerns. Prior Government contract work is not required for submitting a response under this sources sought synopsis. General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), Northeast and Caribbean Region (Region 2), anticipates issuing a solicitation that will result in a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), for Repair and Alteration (R&A) services contract to Small Business. The requirements contained within this anticipated contract will be for a broad range of Repair and Alteration services in Government and leased buildings. The Government anticipates issuing the solicitation for this acquisition on or about April 2018. If qualified and interested, per the definition above, please submit a letter (maximum of 3 pages) via email stating the following: 1.Contact information: a.Name of company b.Business title c.Institution or organization affiliation d.Representative's e­mail address e.Representative's phone number f.Company's DUNS number 2.Business size for the assigned NAICS code. In addition to the size of business, indicate any other socioeconomic designations such as 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business, HUBZone Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Women­Owned Business, etc. 3.Capabilities statement, which shall include information detailing at least three (3) "similar contracts substantially completed within the past five (5) years. A similar contract is defined as one that is comparable in magnitude, scope, complexity and duration to the requirements as defined by this Notice. 4.Bonding capabilities shall include single project limit and aggregate limit, or ability, plans, and anticipated timeframe to obtain bonding. 5.If you are responding to this Notice from outside the geographic location of the work, please provide a narrative detailing how you propose to mobilize and perform the work at a fair and reasonable price to the Government. Each response shall be reviewed by the Contracting Officer/Specialist for the purpose of determining whether there exists a reasonable expectation of obtaining a sufficient number of offers from responsible small businesses that are competitive in terms of market prices, quality, and delivery. All information furnished to the Government in response to this notice will be used for review purposes only. Responses must be submitted to this office by email by 12:00 PM ET on Tuesday, October 17, 2017.
