Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) currently intends to solicit with a single source and award a contract to provide full maintenance and support services to maintain (1) Leica Microsystems Inc. brand Slide Stainer Model: CV5030-TS5025 & (1) Model Leica ST5020, Basic Instrument Slide Stainer. Maintenance shall be in accordance with attached SOW. The intended source is currently: Leica Microsystems, Inc. | 1700 Leider Lane | Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 The statutory authority for the sole source procurement is FAR 13.106(b) Soliciting from a single source and the anticipated award date is 23 Oct 2017 A firm-fixed priced purchase order is anticipated. The order will have a one year period of performance with (4) priced optional years. RESPONSES ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED All responses to this notice must be in writing and include the Notice # VA247-17-N-0965 in the subject line. Additionally, responses must also include: Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number, CAGE code, identify business size (large business or a small business), and if applicable, a statement regarding small business status (including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) and the corresponding NAICS code. Identify whether your firm is interested in competing for this requirement as a prime contractor or not. Identify subcontracting, joint ventures or teaming arrangement that will be pursued, if any. Information in sufficient detail regarding previous experience (indicate whether as a prime contractor or subcontractor) on similar requirements (include size, scope, complexity, timeframe, government or commercial), pertinent certifications, etc., that will facilitate making a capability determination. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses must send to Evonne.Huggins@va.gov and received by 12 Noon Eastern Time on 6 Oct 2017.
