- Description
- First Floor IT Room a. Demolition 1. Contractor shall remove existing cubicle space partitions 2. Contractor shall demolish and dispose of wall between 107-108 3. Contractor will need to remove the existing duplex outlets located in the wall and also relocate the light switch to the new office. 4. Contractor shall also connect the remainder of the lights to the alternate room circuit. 5. Contractor will need to remove fire strobe from demoed wall. 6. Contractor shall remove 2 existing equipment cooling units and cap the utilities at the room entrance. 7. Contractor shall also remove the existing power connections for the two HVAC units. 8. Remove and reinstall the existing door and frame located in the wall to the new 10'x12' office. 9. User to remove the bench near the new comm room. 10. Remove and relocate the existing motion detector located near the new comm room. 11. Relocate two existing 2x4 lights to account for the new comm room. b. Construction 1. Contractor shall build 10'x12' office in room 107 to serve as an office. 2. Contractor shall build ~6'x10' comm. Closet in room 108 to protect the users comm equipment. 3. Comm room to have a 3070 door for entrance into the room 4. Drywall, paint, and texture to be completed 5. Install cooling unit in the comm room to meet Base CE comm room cooling requirements. 6. Certify new cooling system with condensation unit to be located on the west side of the building. 7. Connect plumbing as needed 8. Contractor to adjust the HVAC as need to be able to balance the system in the space. 9. Contractor to install new ceiling grid and reuse as much of the existing tile as possible. 10. Make electrical connections as needed 11. Repair flooring as needed (user to provide raised floor tiles) 12. Contractor to place carpet tile over the existing raised floor tiles. 13. Contractor to relocate existing fire sprinkler and install an additional fire sprinkler in the new comm room. 14. Install cubicle 8 workstation (as determined by IT chief and DSF)
