Description

Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition The Strategic Weapons Facility, Atlantic (SWFLANT) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Visitors Quarters, 921 USS James Madison Road, Kings Bay, Georgia 31547 for rooms to accommodate CDO/OOD personnel. A total of four rooms will be reserve for 365 days. Additional rooms may be reserve on a as need basis. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price. An award notice will be publicized. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received by 12:00PM (EST) 13 October 2017 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
