- This is the first Update to RFI N6833517R0420, COMFRC Equipment Industry Day. The Industry Days will be held 25 & 26 October 2017 at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) in San Diego, CA. Below are instructions to register, the planned agenda, a sample list of support equipment and a list of questions you should be prepared to answer. If you have questions about the Industry Days that are not answered, please contact the POCs listed below, email is preferred. REGISTRATION AND VETTING All Industry Day participants are required to register in advance for this event. Participants who plan on attending must notify the Contracting Office of their intent to attend via e-mail. POC's are listed below. When registering, please provide responses to the questions (bottom) to help us understand your specialties and areas of interest. For each question answered YES, please provide additional comments and an example or two. Examples of the equipment types across the FRC's are also listed below. Naval Base Coronado (NBC) and FRCSW Security Department requires that all visitors attending be properly vetted before given access to the base. Every individual participant must complete a SECNAV 5512/1 form (included in the amendment) and return to FRCSW no later than 10 business days prior to the event to allow enough time to complete the vetting process. Two forms of identification (i.e. Driver's License number, SSN, Passport ID, etc.) must be noted on the SECNAV 5512/1 form. Participants will be required to show ID once they arrive. Please note that all initials and signatures must be "wet" signatures. Digital signatures will not be accepted. Once registration has been requested through the Contracting Office and the SECNAV Form 5512/1 has been received by FRCSW, a base map and directions will be provided. The itinerary for this event is provided below, but please take into account that individuals will need to allow time to check in at NBC's Visitor Control Center, located in Bldg. 660, prior to the 7:00a.m. check-in for the event.
