The Department of Veterans Affairs National Acquisition Center (VA NAC) is responsible for the acquisition and management of radiology and imaging systems, subsystems, and components along with maintenance services, training, and incidental services related to the supply of the equipment in order to meet the needs of their customer, the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). The NAC procures high-tech medical equipment (HTME) for the following modalities: CT PET-CT MRI MR-PET Ultrasound Nuclear Medicine Fixed X-Ray DR & Analog Mobile X-Ray Portable/Deployable X-Ray Rad-Fluoro Computed Radiography Reader (CR) C-Arms Special Procedures Room (enhanced RF) including Angiography & Cardia Cath Mammo Urological 3D Workstations The NAC is seeking responses from verified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) who can successfully perform and meet the HTME needs of the VA. Responses shall include the following: Discuss your ability to provide HTME in the various modalities listed above. Please include in your responses the specific systems that you provide by modality, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) name, systems names, and the delivery lead times for each system. Please use the attached spreadsheet in submitting this additional information. Provide discussion on your ability to perform turnkey and extended installation. If this is a service that you do not provide, please state as such. If turnkey/extended installation is to be provided by the OEC, please discuss your role in this process (i.e. would the VA contract which you and the OEM would serve as a subcontractor or would the VA directly contract for these services with the OEM?) Provide additional discussion on extended warranties. Are these to be purchased through your company as the distributor or would the VA contract directly with the OEM for this service? If this is a service that you do not provide, please state as such. Provide additional discussion on training (applications training as well as biomedical engineering training and physicians training). Are these services available for purchases through your company as the distributor or would the VA contract directly with the OEM for this service? If this is a service that you do not provide, please state as such. Provide additional discussion on your ability to provide upgrade support (to include auxiliary equipment as well as software upgrades). Is various upgrade support available for purchase through your company as the distributor or would the VA contract directly with the OEM for this service? If this is a service that you do not provide, please state as such. Responses are due to the NAC by 3:00 pm CST on Tuesday, October 17, 2017.
