Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ, intends to enter into a firm fixed price (FFP) contract for software maintenance and help desk support for the VA, Veterans Health Administration, Office of Finance, Managerial Cost Accounting. The TAC intends to award a sole source, 12-month FFP contract with three 12-month option periods to Allscripts Healthcare, LLC (Allscripts), 8529 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, North Carolina, 27615, pursuant to authority 41 U.S.C 3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The proposed solicitation number for this effort is 36C10B18Q2594. The place of performance for this acquisition is at the Contractor s facility. Upon award of this contract, and in accordance with FAR 5.301, VA will post the associated Justification and Approval to the Federal Business Opportunities Page. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) Code/Size is 511210, with a corresponding small business size standard of $38.5M. The estimated date of award for this action is October 20, 2017. This notification shall close on October 6, 2017. This is a notification of intent, not a request for proposals.
