Description

This acquisition is for dry-docking and overhaul of the USNS TRENTON (T-EPF 5). All repair work is to be accomplished at the successful contractor ™s facility. In order to support the current U.S. Navy mission, this solicitation will be geographically limited to all prospective contractors that have the capability to accomplish the repair work with shipyards located in the Sixth Fleet Area of Responsibility (AOR). For the purposes of this geographic restriction, the Sixth Fleet AOR is defined as the Mediterranean basin. Note that this is a pre-solicitation notice only and does not require a response from interested parties. The formal solicitation will be posted separately during October 2017 and will include complete instructions for submitting proposals to be considered for award purposes.
