- This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract with 3-1 year Options for Adapter Ground Handling (Adapter, Axle-NLG Wheel Remover); NSN: 1730-01-307-3012; Part Number 17G130044-1. The Basic is for Qty of 4 each (includes first article), Test Plan (1 LO), and Test Report (1 LO). The 3-1 year Options are based on Qty range of 1-2 each. The function is to extend the NLG axle so the wheel can be positioned outboard on the axle, thus allowing the wheel lift truck to be utilized for NLG wheel R/R. Operation is to remove axle nut from axle; install axle adapter; slide wheel outboard position lift truck and remove wheel. This requirement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the contracting agency. The Government will utilize the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), Excluded Parties List System (EPLS), and other Government databases to determine contractor status before evaluating proposals. Proposal will be evaluated based on criteria stated in the RFP. We anticipated release of the RFP on or around 20 October 2017 with an estimated response date of 30 November 2017.
