Description
Testing specifications for rear rotor blades Testing specifications for blade pins Request for Quote and Statement of Work Peace Vanguard requires a Non-Destructive Inspections NDI) to be performed on aircraft slings on an annual basis. The inspection of slings ensures that structural discrepancies in slings are found before sling failure during use. Peace Vanguard also requires an X-ray inspection to be performed on aircraft blade retention pins and tail rotor blades. NDI is a wide group of analysis techniques used in science and technology industry to evaluate the properties of a material, component or systems without causing damage. NDI will be done on aircraft slings using PT & MT methods. X-Rays inspections will be done for blade pins using the RT method and on a schedule of 250 flight hours, or on the first 125 flight hour inspection after the replacement of a blade pin. Vendor must also be able to perform radiographic X-ray on the tail rotor blade pin using equipment SMART 300HP or equivalent. Results of the testing will be sent via email to the Government representative, who will be identified at time of agreement execution. Vendor must be able to perform rotor blade pin x-ray inspections based on the attached requirements (Appendix 1) and tail rotor blade inspection based on attached(Appendix 2). See attached RFQ, SOW, and Appendices 1 & 2 for full details. POC is SGT Justin Geisendaffer, (602) 267-2875, justin.m.geisendaffer.mil@mail.mil
