Document Security Form Wage Determination Addendum 1 Reps and Certs The Solicitation The Agreement Project : James M. Hanley Federal Office Building and Courthouse SSA Barrier Wall Project, Syracuse, New York Solicitation Number 47PC1117B0004 Provide renovations to the fourth floor of the James M. Hanley Federal Office Building and Courthouse in Syracuse, NY to allow installation of a Front End Interviewing Barrier wall that will re- define the layout of the Social Security Administration public and private spaces. This is an interior office renovation project and includes but is not limited to providing move services to and from swing space areas, demolition, providing new walls, doors, casework, woodwork, other finish work, technology/data, infrastructure & wiring, plumbing work, electrical work, fire protection, and mechanical work. Total project area is approximately 17,000 SF. In order to maintain the mission of SSA while construction is ongoing, personnel will have to be relocated to adjacent areas within the fourth floor and to areas on the fifth floor. Multiple moves will have to occur to allow this work to be completed. Work at the north portion of the building may have to occur outside of normal working hours to avoid compromising the operations of the tenant. Systems furniture attached to the barrier wall partition and in open office areas of permanent space and swing space will be provided by another contractor. Coordination of work and proper scheduling will be required to insure timely delivery of the systems furniture. Completion of the project within the time frame stated in the contract is a high priority. The successful offeror must be able to anticipate any construction problems, communicate issues proactively and actively participate with the government team to mitigate any possible construction delays. In accordance with FAR 14.408-1, award will be made as a firm fixed price sealed bid construction contract to a responsible bidder whose bid, conforms to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors included in the invitation. The magnitude of this construction project is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The appropriate NAICS Code is 236220, with a size standard of $36.5 million dollars. Performance and payment bonds will be required following award pursuant to the Miller Act. A bid guarantee is also required. The procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Offers from large business concerns will not be considered by the agency. The required construction completion date is approximately 340 days commencing one day after Notice to Proceed To insure that you receive all information regarding this solicitation, be sure to register to receive updates at www.fbo.gov.
