- Description
- An oral request for quotation will be solicited for the following items as an Unrestricted Procurement: Rain Gutter, Tan for MCPS NSN: 8340-01-337-5699, quantity of: 500 each and Floor for MCPS NSN: 8340-01-331-3304, quantity of 800 each, with Delivery destination VSTJ (Distribution Depot Pendergrass, Pendergrass, GA). Submittal of a First Article is required 60 days after date of award for each NSN. The oral request for quotation will be an unrestricted procurement. The RFQ document can be obtained by contacting Phillip Reuwer by email at Phillip.Reuwer@DLA.Mil. The closing date for oral solicitation will be 10-11-2017. Delivery is 120 days after date of award. Submittal of first article is required 60 days after date of award. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment") impose restrictions on the DoD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reproduced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
