Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 4 intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to Central Admixture Pharmacy, 2525 McGraw Avenue, Irvine, CA, 92614 in accordance with FAR 13.106-1, to provide cardioplegia solution to the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS). Central Admixture Pharmacy is the only source available to satisfy requirement and maintain compliance. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS; a solicitation package is not available. Responses to this notice, if any, must show clear and convincing evidence that competition is attainable, is more advantageous to the Government, and must be received by the Contracting Officer, in writing no later than October 13, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. EST. All inquiries and submittals must be sent via email to tony.cuzzola@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 325412.
