Description
RFQ W9114F-18-T-0001 0001 BSL- 3 Laboratory Training The Contractor shall conduct a five-day onsite Biosafety Level Three Safety Training (BSL- 3) course for four (4) individuals at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Landstuhl, Germany. The training shall be conducted in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The BSL-3 Safety Training Course will instruct the trainees to safely work in a BSL-3 laboratory. The training shall result in the official certification from the contractor and Safety Training Course will include the following topics: Biosafety Levels, Personal Protective Equipment, Biosafety Cabinets (BSC's) and Chemical Hoods, Aerosol-producing Procedures, Waste Management/Disinfection/Autoclaving, Emergency Responses & Biological Exposures, Transportation & Shipping, and General Laboratory Practices. Training Period of Performance: 27 NOV 2017- 01 DEC 2017 (40 hours) Travel dates are: 25 Nov 2017: Contractor's travel day from the US to Germany. 02 Dec 2017: Contractor's travel day from Germany to the US. 0002 Travel and Lodging Travel fees are Not To Exceed (NTE) funded amounts in the price schedule. The Government will reimburse the Contractor for its expenses at reasonable cost to include economy airfare, lodging, meals and transportation that are not to exceed the prescribed Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) rates within the constraints of the line item funding on contract line 0002. The Contractor shall submit receipts showing actual charges for economy airfare, baggage fees, parking, and hotel room. The Contractor will be reimbursed for these costs.
