- Small businesses in these service areas are encouraged to attend. PA Service Industry Day Agenda PA Service Industry Day Promotional Brochure. PA Service Industry Day (Only 20 Seats Remaining) October 18, 2017 in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania The PA Procurement Technical Assistance Program presents the PA Service Industry Day located at the Park Inn Radisson/Harrisburg West, 5401 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. The event is for PA service companies (not for construction or manufacturers) and is designed to help service companies understand how to do business with both Letterkenny and the Tobyhanna Army Depots. Continental breakfast will be served from 7:00 AM until 8:00 AM with the event starting promptly at 8:00 AM. Lunch will also be provided. Keynote speaker is Mr. Tommy Marks, Army SES, Director, Small Business Program and companies can also meet the Small Business Specialists and Army representatives from both bases. Small businesses will have an opportunity to learn about upcoming business opportunities with both Letterkenny and Tobyhanna and how to obtain a U.S. General Services Administration Federal Supply Schedule (GSA Schedule) to increase business with the army and other federal government agencies. Industry Day will be held from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the hotel with exhibits. Hotel room reservations can be made at: http://www.parkinn.com/harrisburgwestpa or via phone at 717-697-0321. When you call be sure to ask for the SEDA Council of Governments room block and you will receive a special rate of $92 per night. Participating small businesses are highly encouraged to register as a federal vendor at https://www.sam.gov and to bring their company capabilities statement so they can provide a copy to the Army personnel that will be staffing the exhibit booths. Small businesses can contact their local PTAC for assistance with this.
