- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to award on a Sole-Source basis to Lyons/Zaremba Inc. (LZI) for construction administration services for the National Conservation Training Center Museum Renovation. The resultant contract will be for the administration and inspection during the museum renovation. The renovation is based on the design and specifications provided by LZI on a previously competed contract for the renovation design. The period of performance for the proposed contract is for one year after date of award. The proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The proposed contractor has unique capability to complete the construction administration services for the work conducted as a result their own design. The construction work is being conducted by a separate vendor under separate contract. The design was a result of a previously competitive contract award, and this new contract for the administrative services will be a logical follow-on to the design services. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability for this requirement by responding to this announcement. All proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
