- Prebid meeting sign-in sheet USDA-NRCS 4D Citrus Restoration Construction Service Glades County, FL This construction project is Set Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) NAICS: 237990 Other Heavy & Civil Engineering Construction $36.5mil The work consists of constructing a wetland restoration project at 4D Citrus, in Glades County, Florida. The major items of work are: clearing and grubbing, structure removal, Construction survey, vegetative measures, water removal, low water crossings, fill ditch Earthfill, Earthfill dike construction, water control structure, emergency overflow and pollution control, concrete inlet boxes and pipes, articulated concrete and Geoweb spillways and low water crossings, riprap, and seeding and mulching. Construction work is to be completed in phases to allow existing cattle to be rotated into pastures not being constructed and rotated back into the pastures once work has been completed. The work is to be completed within 120 calendar days. If weather allows construction could start in November but typically construction starts in January when sites have had a chance to dry from the wet season. FAR 36.204: Construction Magnitude is between: $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 Per FAR 36: Sealed bidding procedures will be used. Contractors who are interesting in submitting proposals should register as an interested party.
