Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Cleveland Regional Office, Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment Service (VR&E), Cleveland, OH is requesting the following Construction services: This project is intended to provide accessibility to the bathroom shower and provide a protected and accessible front entry and protected secondary egress from the bedroom. The work will include creating a new shower area with a transfer lift, a protection canopy over the existing front entry ramp with a front door opener, a new egress door and ramp from the master bedroom with wheelchair access. The Government s estimated construction time for the project is 90 days. Magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. Place of Performance: Kingston, Ohio. There will only be one site visit. An organized site visit has been established. Interested stakeholders shall contact the contracting officer for the full address at kolin.vanwinkle@va.gov The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236118, and the small business size standard is $33.5M. The government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract. This solicitation is set-aside exclusively for Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns. To be considered for award prospective offerors must be a verified VOB concern in the VA Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) Veteran Information Pages (VIP) pages at the date and time set for receipt of offers. An Offeror who is not a verified VOB concern at the date and time set for receipt of offers will have their offer rejected as non-responsive and will not be considered for award. Award will be made to the offeror representing the best value to the Government. All proposals will be evaluated in accordance with compliance with the solicitation requirements and price. All interested qualified sources are requested to provide a brief capabilities statement. As part of your capability statement please include any current or past contracts you have been awarded or the ability to obtain sufficient proof of capability for this type of contract. All proposals are due by November 26, 2017.
