This is Sources Sought (SS) Notice only. This is not a request for proposal. There is no solicitation available at this time. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this SS, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. The SS does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation is not a promise of future business with the Government. The purpose of this SS is to conduct market research to determine an acquisition strategy for establishment of a lawn service contract and a snow removal contract for Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center (RLRVAMC) facilities in Indianapolis, IN. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 is conducting market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Hubzone Small Businesses, Woman Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), or 8(a) firms capable of performing the requirements to warrant a solicitation set-aside. The proposed solicitation is for establishment a lawn service contract and a snow removal contract for RLRVAMC at the West 10th Street and Cold Spring Road locations. Contractor shall provide all supervision, management, labor, equipment and materials and supplies to provide lawn service and/or snow removal services. There may be an award for both services or an award for lawn service and an award for snow removal services. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or around November 20, 2017 with an estimated award date of April 1, 2018. The intended contact base period is anticipated to be one base year with four one-year option periods. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to Nikki Horther at nikki.horther@va.gov.
