- Description
- The MCIEast Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Vencor, DBA SimAuthor, Inc., 890 Explorer Blvd, Huntsville, AL. 35806 (Cage Code: 1NWJ0) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is to provide Flight Analysist (FlightViz) Software License, Upgrades and Technical Support, (NAICS 511210), license period from 16 October 2017 to 15 October 2018. As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Vencore maintains all data rights to their equipment and software. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within two (2) calendar days after the date of the publication of this notice will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
