- Description: This is a Sources Sought Notice. This Sources Sought neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This Sources Sought should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of a market survey being conducted by the St. Louis District, Corps of Engineers to identify interested Contractors within the District area for the Scope of Work listed below. The following are general capabilities required to perform the Scope of Work according to USACE standards. The Contractor must be capable to perform the Scope of Work listed below. General Project Description: The levees generally located along the eastern bank of the Prairie Du Rocher River, in Randolph County Illinois and. The Stations 155+00 near Fort de Chartres. Work Statement: 155+00 near Fort de Chartres historic site, there is a 36" corrugated metal pipe (CMP) culvert (352' total length) which is required to be camera inspected and then slip lined with the appropriate size HDPE pipe. Further downstream there is a 24" deep depression requiring 25 -30 cubic yards of compacted embankment for repair, a slide repair approximately 120' long requiring lime treatment of excavated embankment and repair of the crushed stone road on the levee crown, and an abandoned relief well site requiring 200 cubic yards of compacted embankment. All disturbed areas will require seeding to re-establish the levee ground cover. SOURCE SOUGHT: NAICS CODE: 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction SIZE STANDARD: $36.5 Million DISCLOSURE OF MAGNITUDE: $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: Any solicitation for the nature of work described in this sources sought is subject to the availability of funds. Should funding become available the Government will use responses to this notice as Market Research to develop an acquisition strategy. Any solicitation(s) for this type of work will be made public as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulation at the Government Point of Entry (www.fbo.gov).
