- Draft PWS The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Stewart intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) W9124M-18-Q-0002 to provide Aerial Burning/Ignition Services in support of prescribed burning operations on Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, GA. The Contractor is required to provide exclusive use of the helicopter, pilot, and plastic sphere dispenser ignition system during the peak burning season which is 1 December through 30 June of each year. The anticipated contract will be a single Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a minimum guarantee of hours during the peak burning season. The anticipated period of performance is a base period of 12 months and 3, one-year options. The anticipated period of performance for the base period is: 1 December 2017 through 30 November 2018. Offers will be evaluated on a lowest priced technically acceptable basis. This solicitation will be issued electronically, only. It will be available via the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov). Potential Offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package, as no paper copies will be furnished. It is the Offerors responsibility to check the website as necessary for any posted amendments. Offerors are reminded to carefully review solicitation documents once issued as criteria stated in the solicitation shall govern.
