- PRE SOLICITATION NOTICE Requirement: The work shall include but not be limited to removing and replacing metal roof with screwless or hidden fastener high-rib style roof, removal and replacement of flooring to include both high-traffic carpet and linoleum at the Longbell Fire Station barracks. The proposed period of performance is to have all work to be completed by 15 April 2018. The estimated magnitude of this proposed construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The project is located at the Longbell Fire Station on the Big Valley Ranger District of the Modoc National Forest. Legal description T42N R5E NE Sec 20. There is no physical address for the location Set Asides: This procurement is being solicited as a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238160. The related small business size standard is $15.0M. Solicitation Info: Solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 13. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered. The anticipated posting of this solicitation is on or about October 19, 2017. Site Visit: An organized site visit is not being scheduled however the interior area is occupied and access is not available without prior arrangements. Exterior viewing is available without restrictions. Inquiries: All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing via email to tmarino@fs.fed.us. No telephone questions will be accepted. It is recommended that they be submitted no later than 3 calendar days prior to the closing date of the solicitation. Questions received after that time may not receive a response. Notifications: In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), the government is limiting the availability of the solicitation to electronic medium through this posting to FBO.gov. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will be posted on this website. It is the sole responsibility of the quoter to continually view this website for any amendments made to this solicitation. Award notifications will be made to this notice. Early notification will not be made to any quoter except Awarded Contractor.
